The Federation recognises its legal responsibility as an employer to maintain, so far as is reasonably practicable, the safety and health of its employees, and of other persons who may be affected by its’ activities such as volunteers, members and visitors. The policy is intended for all Constituent Synagogues and any affiliate synagogues who are formally supported by the Federation’s Property department.
It is your duty as a synagogue not to put others at risk by your acts or omissions and therefore you should ensure that you are familiar with the contents of the policies outlined here and refer to it regularly to ensure compliance (please click on the headings below to access policies).
