Hall Hire Policy
This section applies to those communities that hire out their halls/buildings for simchos and other events.
If you intend to hire out all or any part of your building for use by third parties, you will need a hall hire agreement that provides a binding contract between the synagogue and the hiring party. Click here to access a template agreement that you can download and adapt for your use.
You must also ensure that the hirer has their own public liability insurance.
You will need to complete a risk assessment for any event beyond the realms of a social gathering (eg a bouncy castle will be on site, or there will be a barbecue). Please contact Avi Cohen, Property and Projects Manager, on 020 3870 4730 for more information.
