FedTech is the Federation’s kehillah initiative to promote understanding and awareness of the halachic issues facing the contemporary Jewish household in an ever changing technological world. The service offers guidance to the kosher consumer in choosing new appliances, and addresses questions pertaining to appliances which are already in use. Contact FedTechIn launching this initiative, the Federation’s aim has been to serve both the Jewish community and the world of manufacture. As long time experts in the field of kosher food certification, KF Kosher, the Federation’s kashrus department, have branched out into the field of domestic appliance certification.
